Production zones The soil quality and the climate of Nicaragua are made suitable and enhanced in certain zones by the presence of microclimates that are conducive for the cultivation of black tobacco. The local conditions (particularly abundant sun shine, rainfall and ambient humidity) make these areas the choicest production zones.
The originality and aromatic richness of the Nicarao cigars are as a result of an excellent assemblage of leaves harvested from the two excellent Nicaraguan regions: Esteli and Jalapa. Soft and stout at the same time, the Nicarao cigars flatter the senses of the smoker with their bouquet of natural aromas. By their Central American touch, the aromas and savours are branded and strengthened at the same time while expressing an interesting complexity of aromas in the cigars.
The Esteli region is situated at an altitude of 840 m. The synergy between the soil, abundant sun shine, ambient humidity and the variety of plant cultivated lead to the production of relatively distinct tobaccos. In view of an outstanding aromatic mid vein, these leaves carry the structure cigar and build its true corpulence. Based principally on their savour and robustness, Esteli guards the quality of cigar.
Situated at an altitude of 680 m, the Jalapa region is a perfect zone for the cultivation of tobaccos that bear the savour of cigar. An alliance of favourable climatic conditions and a very good quality soil makes Jalapa the ideal location for the production of globally renowned wrapper leaves. Highly equilibrated in their diversity, these leaves bear the aromatic fineness and richness of cigar. Rich in soft and complex touches, Jalapa bears the fullness of cigar. |
